My photography journey began at 14, thanks to my late father, who introduced me to the captivating art of capturing images. The magic of the camera fascinated me. It could freeze a moment in time by letting light pass through a lens, creating an image on film that transformed into a breathtaking picture on paper. I was enchanted by developing black-and-white photographs in our makeshift darkroom, which doubled as our Laundry.

Countless hours slipped away as my father and I immersed ourselves in this creative ritual under soft red lighting, often pushing bedtime aside to seize extra moments, crafting images while learning the art of processing.

My professional life has always revolved around construction, sometimes sidelining my passion for photography, however, I realised that to create a more balanced lifestyle I needed to re-explore my passion. It reignited my deep love for this art form and opened the door for me to explore my creativity once more.

My true inspiration comes from exploring the captivating world around us and uncovering the subtle lessons nature offers.
